Elizabeth S. Glenn

Elizabeth S. Glenn is the Chief of Community Planning and Development for the Baltimore County Office of Community Conservation. She has been a dedicated public servant for more than 25 years primarily serving in the housing and community development field. She has worked on several Democratic campaigns, including the Baltimore County Executive James T. Smith, Jr.'s campaign for County Executive, the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential campaigns, the Parris Glendening Gubernatorial campaigns and Mayoral Campaigns for Kurt L. Schmoke.

She is a member of the Baltimore County Leadership Class of 2001 and has served on many boards of directors, including serving as Vice President of Community Development for Maryland Association of Housing and Redevelopment Agencies, the nonprofit loan fund Community Capital of Maryland, the Neighborhood Housing Services of Baltimore, the Women's Housing Coalition, Maryland Citizen Action Coalition, serving as Treasurer for the Walnut Point Home Owners Association, and was recently appointed to the International Committee of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials. She held a Faculty Associate appointment to the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing from 1993 through 1999 and lectured extensively at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health during the same time period on community development and community organizing.

Mrs. Glenn is married, with 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and 1 dog and resides in Walnut Point in Essex, MD.
