Jamie Fontaine works as Campaign Manager to Congressman Ben Cardin. Her main focus in her personal life is creating opportunities for young girls and women to get involved in government and politics. She was recently appointed to the Baltimore County Commission for Women by County Executive Jim Smith, where she is the liaison to the Domestic Violence Coordinating Committee.

Jamie also serves on the board of MDNARAL, Pro-Choice America, is a member of the Young Democrats of Baltimore County, and is a member and newsletter editor of the Central Baltimore County Democratic Club. In her spare time, Jamie coaches for the women's Olympic Development Soccer program in Maryland.

Jamie is a founding member of the Democratic Women's PAC of Maryland.
