All public schools should receive adequate and equitable funding from the State with a full commitment to Thornton and a parallel commitment from local jurisdictions to maintain and increase levels of school funding as State funds increase.

Federal, state, and local standards that protect the Chesapeake Bay, our drinking water, and our air quality should be strengthened in order to preserve our environment for future generations.
